Originally from Brussels, Belgium, Dimitri Levie has been designing, directing and enriching the Australian entertainment and festival scene for over a decade.
Passionate about design, prior to his migration to Australia he studied at Institut des Arts de Diffusion IAD, one of the two leading film schools in Belgium, and subsequently worked in a comprehensive range of roles, including Fashion Photographer, Stuntman, Commercial Photographer, Lighting Technician, Gaffer, Best Boy and Film Camera Operator.
Not content to limit his interests since moving to Australia Dimitri has been involved in a number of demanding yet exhilarating jobs, from touring as lighting designer for bands, to residencies at both the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Theatre Company. As a designer Dimitri continues to develop his own electrifying and unique style.
